New Sunday School Class

The College and Career Class is under the leadership of Julie Miller.  What a wonderful opportunity for this age group to meet and talk about the Lord and His church.  So, if any of you have just completed high school, are in college, are recent college grads, or are early into your career, the doors are wide open for participation.  Please bring your friends and come and join this class for a true blessing.  They meet  in the library on the first floor of the education building.

 Ephesians Class– taught by Paul Miller.  Located next to the choir room above the choir loft.  Age group is 30’s, 40’s, and 50's.  Volunteers from this class serve the Community Meal on the second Saturday

 Faith Seekers Class– Located in SW corner of Fellowship Hall.  All young couples and singles are welcome!  

Friendship Class– located in the Parlor.  Age group is 60’s and 70’s couples and singles.  Taught by Bob Bell and George Womack. 

 Service Class– located in the Fellowship Hall.  Age group is 50’s, 60’s, and 70's -  couples and singles.  Volunteers from this class serve the Community Meal on the 4th Saturday of each month.  They have various teachers who rotate.

 Spirit Class – located in Fellowship Hall opening on to the breezeway.  Age group is 60’s and 70’s couples and singles.  Taught by Bill Windham

 Wesleyan Class – Age group is 60’s, 70’s and 80’s most women.  Located in NW corner of Fellowship Hall.  Taught by Kristi McCasland & Ken Swanger.

                               Children's Sunday School Classes

                                                   Nursery
We are very proud of our nursery and the nursery workers at Hardy.  As parents of infants through age one, you will feel comfortable leaving your baby with competent workers while you enjoy a worship-filled experience at Hardy. Both Mrs. Jean Godfrey and Mrs. Jo Ann Swanger have over 20 years of experience as nursery workers at our church.  They love children, and the children love them.  Located in the education wing of the main building, the nursery is quite accessible.  By exiting the right door of the sanctuary from the front of the church, you will go past the church office, through a door and find the nursery door immediately to your left. 

For Sunday school, the two and three-year-olds meet in the door adjacent to the nursery in the education wing of the main building.  The room is large and bright welcoming the little ones to play and learn about Jesus.  Teachers are Ms. Amy Jackson and Mrs. Sara Weber.

Four and five-year-olds meet across the hall from the nursery and the two-three-year-old classroom in the education wing of the main building.  Both Mrs. Pat Reynolds and Mrs. Diane Bagley have been teaching this age group for over 25 years.  Hardy children, both young and old, know and love Ms. Pat and Ms. Diane and look forward to the two years they have the opportunity to enjoy their love and guidance.

Both Elementary I-III and Elementary IV-V meet upstairs in the education wing of the main building.  Elementary I-III is led by Mrs. Molly Pate, and included in this class is not only a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Bible and its wonderful stories, but this class is also where students have an opportunity to train to be acolytes in the morning worship service.

Elementary IV-V meets next door under the leadership of Mrs. Bonnie Miller who is an icon in our children’s department.  Ms. Bonnie, as she is affectionately called, has taught this age level for over 20 years.  Ms. Bonnie also leads the Children’s Sermon each Sunday during morning worship and what a wonderful experience that is for the children.

 Junior High Sunday school – Located on the third floor of the education wing of the main building (to the left of the stairs). The class is for students in the 6th grade through 8th grade.  Teacher is Ann Miller.

 Senior High Sunday school – Located on the third floor of the education wing of the main building (to the right of the stairs).  The class is for students in the 9^th grade through 12^th grade.  Teachers are Chris and Terre Carroll.
